Thank you so much for considering me to be your wedding photographer! To give you a better idea of what to expect from me on your big day, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My love of photography and my type-a personality are completely in balance when it comes to weddings. Since starting my journey as a wedding photographer in 2012 I have learned many things that I use to help every couple plan and prepare for this emotional whirlwind celebration. I take lots of notes, create detailed wedding day schedules with you, bring along emergency supplies with everything from pepto to a sewing kit, tell terrible jokes whenever possible, and make sure to get all those little in-between moments all day long. I’ll probably also stop and take in the moment during the first dance, get butterflies while you’re getting ready, laugh with you during speeches, choke up when your dad takes the dance floor, and smile ear-to-ear all day long. I’ll be your photographer, your amateur planning assistant, your seamstress, your comedy central, your friend.
If I wasn’t a wedding photographer, I’d probably be a chef. I love food, making up my own recipes, using family and friends as new recipe test subjects, experimenting with food presentation, the whole experience! I’ve been known to spend hours in the kitchen making dinner just for myself and my sweetheart, and I love every minute of it.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me cuddled up with a good book at the cottage, playing with my kitties or back country camping with my husband. I could live off of hot wings and deep fried pickles, I believe chocolate is boring without pretzels, I prefer white wine to red, tea to coffee, popcorn to chips, I think hot drinks deserve whipped cream and coconut is just gross. Oh, and I absolutely love weddings! If I could afford to renew my vows every year, I would. Instead, with the help of some wonderfully talented friends and colleagues, I host multiple styled weddings every year. You can see one by clicking here.
I know you have unlimited options when it comes to choosing a wedding photographer. It means the world that you have considered me to document the most important day of your lives. I look forward to getting to know you better.
