I first met Sam and Glenn in a coffee shop. I love the smell of fresh coffee and the chance to treat every couple I meet to a favourite drink. Within moments of sitting down and chatting, I was smitten. They were just the sweetest couple. Occasionally finishing one another’s sentences, holding hands and sitting side by side, exchanging loving glances while they shared stories and hopes and wedding detail aspirations with me. Laughing together, smiling together, never letting those interlocked fingers falter.
For their engagement session we went to the park, walked the trails and enjoyed the beautiful weather. He held her hand, she hugged his side. They smiled constantly.
The wedding day, trimmed in black and gold, softly overcast sky, everyone was filled with excitement. From the moment they saw each other their eyes never wandered. Hand in hand, they wed. Hand in hand, they entered a cheering reception and took their seats. The speeches started, she reached out for him, and hand in hand they sat. The music started, he took her hand, they danced the night away.
At every opportunity, Sam and Glenn reach for each other.
It’s such a beautiful kind of love. The kind that gives you butterflies and courage at the same time. It’s where you can see they love you with everything they are, because anything less just isn’t enough. It’s what everyone looks for, and nobody ever lets go of.
Presenting the newest Mr& Mrs in the Hourglass family. It’s been so wonderful getting to know you both! I wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness.
Always reach for one another.
